LLS Presents: Take Back Our Lives

Read Time:1 Minutes

Taking place in central London on 12 February, Take Back Our Lives is a day of talks and discussion towards reclaiming sanity in public health and building left opposition to tyranny.

The past two years have seen global tech, pharma, governments and multinationals convince the population they were liberal, progressive, even ‘left’ as they crushed our lives and communities with ongoing restrictions.

Ordinary people were branded ‘right wing’ for following the money, examining the research, challenging LD-based poverty, engaging with statistics, wishing to control their bodies or questioning authority.

TBOL will be a day for those on the left to talk and discuss, listen to eminent scientists, genuinely progressive experts,  and together move forward from the past two years’ chaos.

Running order:

10-10:30 – Registration and start

  • Panel 1: ‘The buying and selling of health’, featuring NHS and medical specialists
  • Panel 2: ‘The attack on and vindication of the Great Barrington three’, featuring Sunetra Gupta

13:30 – Lunch

  • Panel 3: ‘In it to win it: How effective campaigns flip the narrative’, with the Together Declaration, NHS 100k and (tbc) Big Brother Watch
  • Break-out groups with different workshops
  • Whole meeting round-up on actions and thoughts from Left Lockdown Sceptics organisers on on ‘Building left resistance to corporatism, technocracy and tyranny’

  1. can’t be there bc I live in the US. there is a similar march in Washington on Jan 23. Be strong!!!

  2. I was planning on attending this but having just seen Gupta come out in favour of vaccine mandates, also revealing her prior (thankfully unsuccessful) lobbying efforts of PHE to mandate the measles vaccine I won’t be. If I want to listen to leftwing authoritarianism there’s plenty of it out there already. I was hoping this would be an opportunity to meet people on the left who respect even the most basic principles of the right to one’s own body. What has the left become? I despair.

    1. Lucy, the meeting could be a perfect opportunity to challenge Gupta in person and put forward your arguments to her against mandates of any kind. LLS welcome respectful debate.

      1. Well I would but 1. Mandatory, invasive medical procedures that carry a risk of death and disablement is an issue that i find so abhorrent I think it’s beyond debate, same as torture, rape, slavery and paedophilia. Moral relativism isn’t my thing, there is no agreement or middle ground to be found. And 2. We will make absolutely no progress in finding solutions and presenting effective resistance to the real issues that face us in the authoritarian biosecurity era if we have people in the ranks who don’t even agree on the most basic principles and waste time debating what should be non-negiotiable basic principles from which we advance from.

    2. I feel the same Lucy. I sent a donation as I can’t be there, but mandatory vaccines are a huge no for me. You’re not alone in your despair.
